Contractor websites

Contractor websites
built for quote requests.

Websites for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers and electricians that explain what you do, where you work and how to get a quote — clearly, on any phone.

What a trade customer needs from your website

Most people looking for a plumber, furnace repair or a roof inspection are not browsing for fun. They have a leak, a cold house or a storm-damaged shingle, and they are usually on a phone. In a few seconds they want to know three things: do you do this kind of work, do you work in my area, and how do I reach you. A contractor website should answer all three before the visitor has to scroll far.

That is the starting point for every trades site I build. Services are named in plain language ("water heater replacement", "ductless mini-split install", "flat roof repair") rather than buried under a generic "Services" heading. Your service area is listed in words, not just shown on a map. And the quote-request form is short, easy to reach from every page and tested before launch.

Built around the work you actually do

Plumbing websites

Plumbing customers search by problem: drain cleaning, sump pumps, water heaters, bathroom renovations. A clear page or section for each main service helps visitors find the right answer and gives search engines specific, relevant text to understand. Emergency availability is only mentioned if you actually offer it.

HVAC websites

Heating and cooling work is seasonal and often involves larger decisions — replacements, heat pumps, maintenance plans. An HVAC site benefits from explaining options simply, listing brands you are authorized to install (only if you are), and making it easy to request a maintenance visit or estimate.

Roofing websites

Roofing is visual. Homeowners want to see real roofs you have done, materials you work with and how the process works from inspection to clean-up. A project gallery with your own licensed photos does more than any stock image. Warranty and insurance details appear exactly as you provide and approve them.

Electrician websites

Electrical customers care about safety and credentials. Licence numbers, permits and inspections should be presented accurately — supplied by you, never guessed. Panel upgrades, EV charger installs, lighting and renovation wiring each deserve a clear description.

What is included

Packages are fixed in scope so you know what you are getting:

  • Quote Page — starting at US$295. One mobile-ready page with up to six sections, your service details, a small project gallery and a tested estimate-request form. Uses your existing logo.
  • Trade Business Site — starting at US$850. Up to five pages with copy adapted from your facts, a project gallery, a service-area section, a quote form and a one-location Google Business Profile audit (written advice, not live edits).
  • Trade Growth Kit — starting at US$1,650. Up to eight pages, two forms, a visual guide, four social templates and a profile audit.

Every package includes basic page titles and meta descriptions, image alt text, a staging preview for your review and handover notes. Full package details are on the services page.

Honest about what a website can and can't do

A good website makes it easier for the right customer to choose you, but no designer can honestly guarantee a number of calls, jobs or a specific Google ranking. I won't promise those. Hosting, domain, paid tools, advertising and ongoing SEO are separate. The contractor designs in my portfolio are clearly labelled fictional concepts, not client results.

What you can expect: a site that reflects the quality of your work, uses your real photos and credentials, loads quickly on a phone and makes the next step obvious.

How a project works

We start with a short brief: your services, service area, photos and any existing branding. I confirm the platform and scope before anything is ordered. You review the site on a staging link, request revisions within the package, and the site only launches after you approve it.

Common questions

Do you build websites for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers and electricians?

Yes. Trades websites are built around your actual services, service area and photos, with a clear quote-request form.

Can you guarantee more calls or a top Google ranking?

No. The deliverable is the website. Rankings, leads and jobs depend on many factors outside a website build, so they are never guaranteed.

Is hosting included?

No. Hosting, domain and paid tools are separate costs. I can advise on simple low-cost options when we confirm scope.
